1. Nature of the service and key notices
TRUE SUN / 正阳易理 (the “service”) provides personal profile and yearly theme reports, Questions, daily reminders, relationship comparisons, AI chat, and related digital content inside the mobile app. The content draws on traditional Chinese culture and is written with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
All content is for cultural reference and self-reflection only. It does not predict or guarantee any future outcome, and it is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice. Readings may touch career, relationships, health, or money, but we do not promise wealth, marriage outcomes, illness or recovery, stock moves, or any investment result. Use your own judgement for important decisions and consult a qualified professional when needed. The service makes no religious claims; please decide for yourself, in line with your own beliefs, whether to use it.
Reports, reminders, and chat replies are generated by AI. They are not written by a human expert or “master”. AI output can be detailed within the cultural frame, but it can still be wrong, incomplete, or not fit your situation; depth is not accuracy or certainty.
We do not sell or recommend luck-changing services, charms, rituals, or lucky objects, and we will never pressure you by saying something bad will happen unless you act. If you see offensive, inappropriate, or distressing content, report it in the app or through this site’s contact page.
2. Age, accounts, and where the service is offered
You must be at least 18 years old to register, use, or buy the service. Do not use it if you are under 18. You must tick “I am 18 or older” at sign-up or first use; existing accounts are asked to tick it once on the next launch. We store the time of that confirmation. We do not check ID.
Sign-in uses email one-time codes. There is no password. You must control the inbox that receives codes and sign out on shared devices.
After an email change, only the new address can receive sign-in codes. The old address remains a purchase-matching record. It cannot sign in to this account or be used to register a new account against the same purchases.
The app is currently listed in Malaysia and Singapore. Whether you can download, buy, or renew depends on what the app store shows. You must be allowed to use the app store account that pays.
3. Birth data and profile rules
You first confirm your own birth data when you first sign in. That unlocks your daily reminder. Within 7 days of that first confirmation, and before the final confirmation, you can change it once. Each email gets this one change only; deleting the account and signing up again does not bring it back. After 7 days, or once the change is used, it cannot be edited. After you subscribe, and before your first year report, you must review the data and confirm it a final time. The final confirmation locks it permanently: it cannot be edited or swapped for another person, and we do not offer corrections. In-depth reports do not run before that final confirmation.
A family member’s birth date, time, or place locks for 30 days from confirm or change. No edits during the lock. Replacing or deleting and refilling that person uses the same 30-day lock.
You confirm that the nicknames, birth details, gender, and places you enter are accurate and that you have the right to submit them. If you enter a family member or another person, you confirm you have their consent. If you enter a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian. Relationships are set by you. The system does not infer family or romantic ties from names or birth data.
For a Question you may type or search a place, or tap to use the device’s current location. Location is used only to work out local time and local solar time; you may refuse and enter a place yourself.
Before you save or confirm birth data, or select a relationship-comparison pair, you must tick that you have read and agree to the usage and profile rules. We store the acknowledgement time, rules version, and context. The current rules version is 2026-10-14.3. Sharing usage information with the app store during a refund review is a separate, optional consent (section 7), set only in Me → Data and privacy, and is not part of this tick. Before you buy, you must tick that you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
4. Plans and usage
Starter is RM29.90 per month: you and 1 family member; each billing period 3 Questions, 1 relationship comparison, and a standard chat allowance.
Family is RM59.90 per month: you and 4 family members; each billing period 8 Questions, 2 relationship comparisons, and a larger chat allowance.
How chat use is counted: chat allowance is used by reply length. Each reply uses a fixed base amount plus a little more for each character it contains, so short replies use less and long replies use more. Each reply is at most about 900 characters. Before a reply is written, the amount it might need is held; after it is delivered, only its actual length is charged and the rest is returned straight away. When your allowance is running low, replies are kept shorter. If a reply fails or is not delivered, everything held is returned. Your allowance never goes below zero; when what is left is not enough for a reply, you can wait for the next billing period or buy a chat refill.
One-question add-on is RM12.90 and adds 2 Questions. Two-person reading add-on is RM9.90 and adds 2 relationship comparisons. Those two add-ons do not require a subscription, can be bought more than once, are tracked separately from plan quotas (plan quota is used first), and last until used — they do not clear at the end of a billing period. Chat refill is RM9.90 and adds a refill pack of chat allowance; you can top up when allowance is almost used up. Chat refill requires an active subscription and does not replace one. The retired Questions +3 pack is no longer sold.
These are Malaysian prices in Malaysian ringgit (RM). In Singapore, prices are in Singapore dollars (S$) as shown in the app store. The amount charged is the price shown on the app store confirmation screen (including taxes).
A billing period follows your subscription channel (app store or web Stripe), not the calendar month. Each time a renewal starts a new billing period, plan Questions, relationship comparisons, and chat allowance reset to your plan at that time. Unused plan counts and chat refills from the previous period expire. They do not carry over, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash. One-question and two-person reading add-on counts do not clear with the billing period; they last until used.
Changing plans: you can switch between Starter and Family in the channel you use to pay. When an upgrade or downgrade takes effect, what you are charged, and how any price difference is handled are decided by that channel (app store or Stripe) under its rules and shown on the confirmation screen. We do not give separate compensation or refund price differences. A mid-period plan change does not start a new billing period: Questions, chats, and relationship comparisons already used this period still count, and what remains is the new plan’s limit minus what you have used (never below zero). Unused chat refills are kept; one-question and two-person reading add-on counts still last until used. At the next actual renewal, plan counts reset to your plan at that time.
An account can have only one auto-renewing subscription channel at a time (Apple, Google, or Stripe). If you already subscribe through one channel, other channels block a duplicate purchase. If a channel charges you but we do not confirm that purchase, that channel may refund it automatically under its rules. App store purchases and web Stripe purchases write to the same entitlement ledger, so the same signed-in account shares what you bought across the app and the web.
Your year report: after your own birth data is finally confirmed, you can generate one year report for yourself each year, fixed to four parts: overall, money, career and love. You do not pick themes for yourself. The year report does not use Questions, but needs an active subscription and is subject to usage caps. Reopening the same year is never charged again. The next year opens on 1 October (Malaysia time). “Know yourself” is generated automatically after your final confirmation.
Yearly themes: every person other than you may choose 2 themes a year after their birth data is confirmed, one theme per request, and each theme is generated successfully once. Themes are Career development, Wealth and opportunity, Love and marriage, Studies and exams, and Personality. The theme year switches on 1 October (Malaysia time), not on your first payment date. A failed generation (as determined by our system) does not count and can be submitted again; a theme that never generated successfully can be swapped. After a successful generation, a theme is not generated again because you change the display language, edit details, or switch people. If the number of themes changes, we will update these terms and the rules version.
Relationship comparisons are counted separately each billing period (Starter 1, Family 2) and do not use yearly themes. One side is always you; the other is a confirmed family member. A count is used only when generation succeeds. After success, the other person’s birth data locks for 30 days from generation (not the billing period); you are not locked by a relationship comparison. A failed generation returns the count and locks no one. Opening the same pair with the same relationship again shows the original report without using a count.
Shared yearly outlook: an active subscription can read the current year’s full text, including the first paid month. Without a subscription you can see the title and teaser. Years opened while subscribed stay readable after you cancel; a store refund clears that reading record. This does not use Questions, relationship-comparison, or chat counts, and does not need birth data.
Reports already generated stay viewable while the account exists, including after a subscription ends or while an outstanding usage balance exists (section 6).
The chat room lets you control saved history and long-term memory separately. Turning history off makes new chats temporary; they cannot be restored from the history list after you leave. When history is on, the account keeps chat text. Long-term memory needs separate consent. When it is on, the AI notes short points you stated yourself that will help later chats, never sensitive details, and you can also save a line yourself. You can view, correct, disable, or delete any memory. Chat replies are generated through AI providers and are also for cultural reference and self-reflection only.
People slots: Restore purchases recovers an existing subscription but does not add people slots, and cancelling then resubscribing does not open new ones. Cancelling starts a 30-day add-person block: for 30 days from cancellation you cannot add a new person, even while the paid period is still running or if you resubscribe within those 30 days. After the 30 days you can add people again, but an active subscription is still required. People you have already added are not affected.
5. Payments, renewal, and cancellation
Subscriptions, add-ons, and chat refills can be bought in the mobile app (through the app store) or on the web (through Stripe). Web purchases require the same signed-in account. The native app never opens a Stripe payment page.
Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. Price, billing period, price-change notices, and cancellation: for app store purchases, use that store’s subscription page; for web Stripe purchases, use the Stripe customer portal.
Cancelling auto-renewal stops the next charge. Access continues until the paid period ends. For app store subscriptions, cancel in that store account’s subscriptions page; for web Stripe subscriptions, cancel in the Stripe customer portal. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. See the Subscriptions and auto-renewal page on this site for paths and what cancellation does and does not do.
6. Store refunds, and your in-app usage after a refund
Purchased content is non-refundable, except where required by law. We do not issue refunds ourselves. Purchases go through the app store; if the store grants a refund, we follow the store's decision, and the usage-balance rules below then apply.
If you are charged twice, do not receive what you paid for within a reasonable time, or a generation fails, contact us first through this site’s contact page. We will check and help, including explaining how to ask the store. A report, Question, or relationship comparison that fails to generate (as determined by our system) does not count as used. We do not regenerate content that was generated successfully; if you believe it contains an obvious error (for example, it does not match the details you submitted), contact us and we will check it and handle it as the law requires.
These terms do not affect your rights under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws such as Malaysia’s Consumer Protection Act 1999 and Singapore’s Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003, and they do not affect any refund rights the app store gives you.
When a store tells us a purchase was refunded, the unused entitlements and counts from that purchase are removed at once. For a subscription, that period’s subscription access ends.
Counts from that purchase that you had already used before the refund (Questions, chats, relationship comparisons) are recorded as an outstanding usage balance. The balance is counted in uses only; we will never charge you money for it.
When you next buy or renew, newly granted counts of the same kind first offset the balance, and only what remains is available to use. Until the balance is cleared, you cannot generate new reports, Questions, or relationship comparisons, or use new chats. Content already generated stays viewable.
If the store reverses the refund, we cancel the related balance, restore the current period’s access if that subscription period is still running, and the refund no longer counts toward the limit below.
After a second store refund on the same account, we no longer offer new purchases to that account and the in-app purchase options are closed. Content already generated stays viewable, and any existing store subscription remains yours to manage in your store account. If a payment is still completed in an app store: where the store automatically refunds unconfirmed purchases, we will not confirm it and the store refunds it under its rules; in other stores, we will provide what was paid for and record that it happened.
7. Usage information for refund reviews (optional consent)
This is a separate, optional consent and it is off by default. You can turn it on or off only in the app under Me → Data and privacy; it is not on the purchase screen. It does not affect whether you can buy; to buy, you must tick that you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You can withdraw it at any time, and the withdrawal applies to later refund reviews.
Only if you agree, when the app store reviews a refund or chargeback for a purchase on this account, we will give it delivery and usage information for that purchase, for example: the transaction ID, whether it was delivered, when reports were generated and their IDs, how many uses were consumed and the share used, how many days were used, generation failures, and our suggested handling based on that usage. This information does not include report text, chat content, or birth data.
If you have not agreed, or have withdrawn, we do not send this information to the app store. Your choice does not affect your use of or purchases in the service, and it does not decide whether the app store grants a refund.
Whether or not you agree, we keep an internal record of delivery and usage for each purchase to verify usage, apply section 6 after refunds, handle refunds and disputes, and keep the service operating reliably. See the privacy policy.
8. Acceptable use
Reports, reminders, and chat are for the purchasing account only. Do not copy, resell, publish, scrape, or train models on them, or use the service for fraud, harassment, harming others, automation, or any misuse involving minors. Do not rely on the content for medical, investment, or legal decisions.
Do not submit another person’s birth details without their consent, or create a profile for a child you are not the parent or guardian of.
To keep the service stable, we check your usage and request rate before generating, and we may return an existing result for an identical request. We may throttle or pause generation when load is high or a fault occurs.
We may suspend access or require manual review if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, if there is a payment dispute, or if we need to verify the account or an order; store refunds are handled under section 6. We do not cancel an active paid store subscription for you; you manage that in your store account.
9. Content and intellectual property
The app interface, copy, brand, and generated results we provide remain ours or our licensors’ as the law allows. You receive a limited licence to read them on this account. You may not resell or sublicense them.
You remain responsible for birth data and questions you submit. You authorise us to process that data to provide the service, check usage, handle refunds and disputes, and meet legal duties. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.
10. Service changes and availability
We may change features, copy, or quota rules, or retire a capability. Changes do not affect reports generated before the change. Material changes update the rules version, are dated on this site, and are announced in the app in advance.
The service depends on networks, cloud hosts, and third-party APIs. We provide it with reasonable care and skill and will try to restore interruptions, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
Whether and how you act on the content is your decision and responsibility. Where the law allows, our liability for one order is limited to the amount actually paid for that order (for a subscription, the amount paid for the billing period the claim relates to), and we are not liable for indirect loss, expected profit, or the outcome of your decisions.
These terms do not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, and they do not affect statutory guarantees and remedies under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the service and delete the sign-in account in the app under Me → Data and privacy → Delete account. Before deleting, you must tick to confirm you understand that store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the app store, then type the confirmation word for the current app language (Simplified 删除, Traditional 刪除, English DELETE).
After deletion, people, chat, memories, and report text are removed from this service. Payment and refund-related records needed for tax, disputes, and reconciliation are still kept as described in the privacy policy. For deleted accounts, store transaction identifiers and purchase tokens are kept only as one-way hashes, without email or plain purchase tokens. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription. If you cannot open the app, use this site’s contact page. We may suspend or end access in the cases in section 8.
Signing up again with the same email keeps the same self you confirmed before deletion, and a store subscription that is still active reconnects to the new sign-in. Reports and family profiles are not restored. To use a different self, use a different email. Written guides already produced for that self are not issued again.
To recognise the same email, keep that self and an active subscription, and keep current-period usage consistent with the account before deletion, we keep a server-keyed hash of the email, a hash of the self birth details, a hash of the store chain, and the usage, credit, refund, and self-lock state required for that. The hashes cannot be turned back into the email or a purchase token. The birth details themselves are not kept; entering them again must match.
13. Governing law, operator, and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Your mandatory consumer rights under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, are not limited. If you live in Singapore, your mandatory rights under Singapore law, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003, are not limited either. Please raise any dispute with us first through this site’s Contact page. If we cannot resolve it, either side may take it to a court or tribunal with jurisdiction (in Malaysia, including the Tribunal for Consumer Claims).
Trading name: TRUE SUN / 正阳易理. Legal entity name, SSM registration details, registered address, and support contact details are on this site’s Contact page and in the seller information shown by the app store when you pay.
14. Changes to these terms and rules versioning
We may update these terms and the in-app usage rules. The current rules version is 2026-10-14.3 and matches the in-app acknowledgement record. Material changes are dated on this page and announced in the app in advance.
Continued use after an update means you accept the new version. Before you confirm birth data, select a relationship comparison, or take a related action, you must tick agreement to the new version.
