The app store decides refunds. This page explains what happens to your in-app usage, balance, and purchases after a refund.

The store decides refunds
Purchased content is non-refundable, except where required by law. We do not issue refunds ourselves. All purchases go through the app store; if the store grants a refund, we follow the store's decision, and the usage-balance rules then apply. This policy does not affect your rights under applicable law or any refund rights the store gives you.
When we can help
For a double charge, a purchase you did not receive within a reasonable time, a failed generation, or anything the law requires us to handle, write from your sign-in email through this site’s Contact page and we will check and help. A failed generation (as determined by our system) does not count as used.
Usage and balance after a refund
After a store refund, unused entitlements and counts from that purchase are removed at once. Questions, chats, and relationship comparisons already used before the refund become an outstanding usage balance (counted in uses, never charged in money). Your next purchase or renewal first offsets the balance with counts of the same kind. Until it is cleared you cannot generate new reports, Questions, or relationship comparisons, or use new chats. Content already generated stays viewable. If the store reverses the refund, the balance is cancelled.
After a second store refund on the same account, the app no longer offers new purchases. See section 6 of the terms of service.
Cancelling
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; access continues until the paid period ends. For app store subscriptions, cancel in that store account’s subscriptions page; for web Stripe subscriptions, cancel in the Stripe customer portal. Usage information for refund reviews
Only if you separately agree (off by default, can be withdrawn at any time) do we give the app store delivery and usage information when it reviews a refund; if you have not agreed, we do not send it. See section 7 of the terms of service and the privacy policy.
